Few landscape elements affect the overall appearance of a property more dramatically than flowers. In addition to providing beauty through the creative display of brilliant blooms, good seasonal color programs enhance and vary the way a property is viewed from season to season.

The success of any seasonal color program relies heavily on the quality of plants and planting materials used, as well as the care and management of those plants throughout their growing seasons. Our growers provide only the finest quality materials and bedding plants in our seasonal color programs and our clients are welcome to come and visit the facilities. Plus, our staff is trained to pick up the scent of the subtlest change in the planting environment, which may impact plant vitality.

Blue Daze

Caladium
		Annual - Full/Partial Shade\r\n\r\nThis upright-growing plant produces no blooms, but provides brilliant color with its foliage throughout the spring, summer and early-fall seasons and is sensitive to temperature extremes. Also known as "Elephant Ears", it is most commonly used as a border or accent plant.\r\n\r\nPlant 9" to 12" apart

Dusty Miller
		Perennial/Annual -- Full Sun\r\n\r\nThough this plant produces a yellow flower in early summer (which is commonly removed) its primary use in most landscapes is to provide terrific contrasting color with its silver-gray foliage. Usually planted as an annual in this area, it is most commonly used as a border plant with other, more brightly-colored flowering selections.\r\n\r\nPlant 9" to 12" apart

Geranium
		Annual - Full/Partial Sun\r\n\r\nThis upright-growing plant has large, sprawling leaves and produces large multi-bloomed, showy flowers throughout the spring and summer seasons. These blooms have a relatively short life, and once removed, are quickly replaced by more. This delicate plant requires ample water and fertilizer, and thrives best in moderate temperatures.\r\n\r\nPlant 9" to 12" apart

Impatiens
		Annual - Full Shade\r\n\r\nThis low-growing plant has tender, succulent stems, and produces numerous colorful and delicate blooms throughout the spring and summer seasons. It is relatively drought tolerant, and must be planted in soil that drains very well.\r\n\r\nPlant 6" to 9" apart

Impatiens (New Guinea)
		Annual - Full/Partial Sun or Shade\r\n\r\nThis low-growing plant has tender, succulent stems, and produces numerous colorful and delicate blooms throughout the spring and summer seasons. It is relatively drought tolerant, and must be planted in soil that drains very well.\r\n\r\nPlant 6" to 9" apart

Sweet Potato Vine
		Annual - Full Sun\r\n\r\nThis low growing accent vine is ideal for raised planters. It "cascades" nicely and prefers well-draining soil. Available in both lime green and burgandy, both colors are frequently used together.\r\n\r\nPlant 9" to 12" Apart

Fountain Grass (Purple)
		Annual - Full Sun\r\n\r\nThis tall-growing ornamental grass has a deep-purple (almost reddish) coloration, and produces numerous fluffy plumes. Provides a "whispy" effect, which, in conjuction with its dramatic color, makes it an excellent choice for planting on its own, or as a contrasting accent with other flowers.\r\n\r\nPlant no closer than 2' to 3' apart

		Annual - Full/Partial Sun or Shade\r\n\r\nThis upright-growing plant produces no blooms, but provides brilliant color with its foliage throughout the summer season. It is reasonably tolerant of temperature extremes, and will produce a "crown" or "spike", which should be periodically removed. Most commonly used in mass plantings or as a border.\r\n\r\nPlant 9" to 12" apart

Copper Leaf
		Annual - Full Sun\r\n\r\nThis upright-growing plant produces no blooms, but provides brilliant color with its foliage throughout the summer. It is reasonably tolerant of temperature extremes. Most commonly used in conjunction with other plants of contrasting color (e.g.: yellow or gold).\r\n\r\nPlant 12" to 18" apart

Hibiscus (Pink)
		Perennial - Full Sun\r\n\r\nThis upright-growing plant produces large, colorful blooms throughout the summer and is relatively drought tolerant. Native to the southern U.S., this great plant is available in many colors and varieties.\r\n\r\nPlant 2' to 3' apart
